Fortuna Tierra Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing with the IRS. Its main fundraising activities are the Log Hill Hustle and the Exceptional Women of Ouray County. This philanthropic organization was organized by women on Log Hill Mesa, Colorado in 1970 to give aid and support to neighbors. All FTC fundraising proceeds remain in the Ridgway, CO community. FTC funds are used to provide scholarships for students who graduate from the Ridgway Secondary School or live within the Ridgway school district boundaries. FTC also assists the Ridgway community in support of school, fire department, senior citizens and other community needs.
